വെട്ടുകത്തി വീശി കടയുടമയിൽ നിന്നും പണം കവർന്നയാൾ വീട്ടമ്മയുടെ മാല പൊട്ടിച്ച് കടലിൽ ചാടി. സംഭവത്തിൽ കഠിനംകുളം പുതുക്കുറിച്ചി സ്വദേശി സുഹൈലിനെ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. ഇന്നലെ വൈകിട്ട് പുതുക്കുറിച്ചിയിലെ ഒരു കടയുടമയെ വെട്ടുകത്തി കാട്ടി ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തി 5000 രൂപ ഇയാൾ തട്ടിയെടുത്തു.
പിന്നാലെ കടയുടമ കഠിനംകുളം പൊലീസിൽ പരാതി നൽകി. പൊലീസ് ഇയാളെ പിന്തുടർന്ന് പിടികൂടാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ പുതുക്കുറിച്ചിയിലെ ജുബൈറയുടെ വീട്ടിലേക്ക് ഓടിക്കയറുകയായിരുന്നു.
